How to share an app you built with Claude with your team

Share an app you built in Claude with your team: connect Inhaus, ask Claude to put it live, then share it with people or a team behind your company login.

To share an app you built with Claude, add the Inhaus connector to Claude, then ask Claude to put the app live and share it with your team. Your team opens one link and signs in with their company Google or Microsoft account; nobody else can open it.

You don't need a hosting account, a GitHub repo or any code of your own. The whole thing happens in the same Claude chat where you built the app.

What you need

  • The app, in a Claude chat or project. It can be an artifact or a set of files Claude wrote.
  • An Inhaus account and a workspace. Create one at inhaus.dev/getstarted. Your first 7 days are free.
  • About five minutes.

Steps

  1. Add Inhaus to Claude

In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it Inhaus and paste:

    https://mcp.inhaus.dev/mcp

Choose Add, then Connect. See Connect Claude for every click.

  2. Approve the connection

A browser window opens on inhaus.dev. Check the Signed in as email, pick the workspace your team uses, and choose Allow. Claude can now act for you in that workspace, with your permissions and nothing more.

  3. Turn Inhaus on in the chat

In the chat with your app, open the + menu, go to Connectors and turn Inhaus on.

  4. Ask Claude to put it live
Put this live on Inhaus as "Commission Calculator".

Claude sends the app's files to Inhaus. In about a minute it replies with the link, such as https://commission-calculator--acme.inhaus.dev, and the result of the security scan. At this point only you can open it.

  5. Share it with your team
Share it with the sales team, view only.

You can name people by email ("priya@acme.com"), by name ("Priya Shah") or by team ("the sales team"). Each person gets an email with the link.

  6. Check who has access

Open the app's page in Inhaus (Claude gives you the link) and choose Share to see everyone who has access.

What your team sees

They open the link and see a sign-in page with your company's name and the app's name. They sign in with the company account they already have and land on the app. They don't need an Inhaus account, and viewers are never charged. See What viewers see.

Someone who signs in with a personal account, like a private Gmail, sees a page saying the app is only for people at your company, with the option to switch account.

View only or can edit

  • Viewer ("view only") can open and use the app. This is the default when you don't say.
  • Editor ("can edit") can also deploy new versions, roll back, read logs and manage secrets.
  • Owner is you. You can do everything, including delete the app.

See Roles.

Update the app later

Go back to the same chat, ask Claude for the change, and say "redeploy". Claude deploys a new version of the same app, and everyone who already had access sees it on their next visit. If something breaks, ask: "Roll back to the old version." See Versions and rollback.

FAQ

Can I share a Claude app with just one person?

Yes. Ask Claude to share it with their email, for example "share it with priya@acme.com, view only". Only the people and teams you add can open it.

Do my teammates need a Claude or Inhaus account?

No. They only need the company Google or Microsoft account they already use. Viewers are never charged.

Can I share with everyone at the company?

In a company workspace, yes. Ask Claude to "let the whole company use it". This lists the app in the company directory, at once or after an admin approves, depending on your workspace's policy. See Publish to the company.

Can I share with someone outside my company?

In a personal workspace, yes, by email. In a company workspace, only if your admin allows guests. See Share an app.

How do I take someone's access away?

Open the app's Share dialog in Inhaus and choose Remove next to them. They are locked out within about 30 seconds, even if the app is open.

What does it cost?

Every new workspace gets 7 free days. After that, deploying and sharing need a plan. Viewers are always free. See Plans.

Best seen on a laptop

Inhaus is where you deploy and share the tools you build with AI, so it is made for a bigger screen. Open inhaus.dev on your laptop to get the full experience.
