Workspaces
Workspace addresses
Your workspace's own address, and where your apps live.
Every workspace has an address you choose when you create it:
| What | Address | Example |
|---|---|---|
| The website | www.inhaus.dev | www.inhaus.dev (inhaus.dev opens it too) |
| Sign-in, sign-up and your list of workspaces | inhaus.dev | inhaus.dev/signin, inhaus.dev/workspaces |
| Your workspace's dashboard | <workspace>.inhaus.dev | acme.inhaus.dev |
| An app | <app>--<workspace>.inhaus.dev | lead-tracker--acme.inhaus.dev |
| The connector for your AI tool | mcp.inhaus.dev | https://mcp.inhaus.dev/mcp |
You sign in once on inhaus.dev. Opening your workspace's address signs you in there automatically. If you belong to more than one workspace, inhaus.dev/workspaces lists them all.
Rules for workspace addresses
- 3 to 40 characters
- lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens
- starts with a letter
- unique across every personal and company workspace
- Inhaus's own names, such as
www,api,mcpandadmin, are reserved
The sign-up form checks the address as you type and suggests a free one if yours is taken.
App addresses
An app's address comes from its name. "Lead Tracker" becomes lead-tracker, so in the acme workspace it lives at lead-tracker--acme.inhaus.dev. The two hyphens separate the app from the workspace.
The Owner can change the app's part of the address in the app's Settings tab. The old address stops working, so send people the new link.
