get_app_source

Download an app's files so your AI tool can change it.

An app's address is behind sign-in, so your AI tool cannot read its code from the URL. This tool hands it the files of a version, the live one by default. The AI edits them and deploys the next version with deploy_app, passing the app_id and the full set of files, unchanged ones too.

Get the code of the lead tracker and add a column for the deal size.

Parameters

appstringrequired

App name, address name, URL or id.

versionnumber

A version number. Defaults to the live version.

pathsstring[]

Only these files, for example the ones left out of a large app. Up to 200 paths. Defaults to every file.

Result

app_idstring

The app's id.

versionnumber

The version the files come from.

currentnumber | null

The version that is live now.

utf8 for text, base64 for binary files.

Size in bytes.

The file's content.

Files left out to keep the answer under 4 MB: path and size. Call again with paths to get them.
