delete_app

Delete an app. An admin can restore it for 7 days.

The app goes offline at once. Its data, files and secrets are removed after 7 days. Until then, a workspace admin can restore it from the dashboard.

Your AI tool must ask you to confirm the app's name before it calls this tool.

Delete the test calculator app.

Parameters

appstringrequired

App name, address name, URL or id.

confirm_namestringrequired

The app's name, exactly as you confirmed it (case does not matter). If it does not match, nothing is deleted.

Result

app_idstring

The app's id.

statusstring

The app's status after the call.

purge_atstring

When its data, files and secrets are removed for good.

Example

Test Calculator is deleted and offline. Its data, files and secrets are removed on 2026-10-13; until then a workspace admin can restore it from the dashboard.

Errors

Code	When
`invalid`	`confirm_name` does not match the app's name. Nothing was deleted.
`forbidden`	You are not the app's owner or a workspace admin.
