Company directory
List an app for everyone at the company, find the tools other teams built, or copy one for your team.
The directory lists the apps people at your company chose to share with everyone. Each listing shows the app's name, a one-line description, its team, its owner, how much it is used, and its README. Company workspaces only.
Being listed is what Everyone at the company means: every listed app can be opened by everyone at the company as a Viewer.
List your app
- Submit it
The Owner or an Editor opens the app in the dashboard and chooses Submit to directory. Fill in the name, a one-line description, the team it is for, and the README. You can add an icon or screenshot (PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, under 100 KB).
Or ask your AI tool:
Publish the lead tracker to the company directory for the Sales team.It calls
submit_to_directory. If you do not say which team, it asks you, using the workspace's teams. - The scan is checked
The latest security scan must have passed. If it has blocking issues, the submission is refused and lists them.
- It is listed
If your admin has Directory submission approval on (the default), an admin tries the app and approves it, or asks for changes. You get an email either way. If the policy is off, the app is listed at once with a "New" badge.
The team is one of your workspace's groups. Admins manage them under Admin → Members → Groups.
Where your app stands
The app's page shows its directory status:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Private | Only people you share it with can open it. |
| Submitted | Waiting for an admin to try it and approve it. |
| Changes requested | An admin asked for changes. Fix them, deploy, and choose Submit again. |
| Listed | Everyone at the company can find and open it. |
| Update pending review | A new version changed something risky. It shows as "Updated, not yet reviewed" until an admin approves it. |
| Hidden: blocking issues | A new version has blocking security issues, so it is hidden until they are fixed or you roll back. |
| Unlist requested | It stays listed until an admin approves removing it. |
Unlist your app
The Owner (or an admin) chooses Unlist on the app's page and gives a reason. Or ask your AI tool to unlist it (unlist_from_directory). If your admin has Unlist approval on (the default), the app stays listed until an admin approves, even if you are an admin yourself. People you added by name keep their access.
Find an app
Open Directory in the dashboard. Search by name, filter by team, or sort. Or ask your AI tool:
Is there already an app in our Inhaus directory for expense claims?Make a copy
Need the same tool with changes for your team? Choose Make a copy. You get a new app in your name, in the same workspace, with:
- the original's code and README
- its own, empty database
- no secrets (set your own)
- no one else's access (share it yourself)
The copy shows "Based on" the original. Changes to the original do not reach the copy on their own. From the copy's page you can:
- Update from original, to take the original's latest version
- Suggest changes to the original, to send your changes to its owner, if the owner allows suggestions. If the owner accepts them and your admin has Suggested changes approval on, an admin approves them before they go into the original.
