submit_to_directory

Publish an app to the company directory, so everyone at the company can open it.

In a company workspace, the company directory is how everyone at the company gets an app. Depending on the workspace's policy, the app is listed at once, or an admin approves it first. When an admin has to approve, you get an email with the decision.

Publish the commission calculator to the whole company, under Sales.

share_app with company does the same, with a description and team picked for you. Use this tool to choose them, or to add a README.

Parameters

appstringrequired

App name, address name, URL or id.

descriptionstringrequired

One line saying what the app does, up to 140 characters. For example "Works out agent commission and VAT in AED."

teamstringrequired

The team it is for, up to 40 characters: one of the workspace's teams. See list_teams.

readmestring

A README in Markdown, up to 200,000 characters. Defaults to the one deployed with the app.

Result

app_idstring

The app's id.

statusstring

listed when it is in the directory now, or submitted when an admin has to approve it first.

request_idstring | null

The approval request, when there is one.

Commission Calculator is listed in the company directory. Everyone in the company can find and open it now.

Errors

Code	When
`scan_failed`	The latest version has blocking security issues. Fix them and deploy again.
`scan_running`	The security scan of the latest version has not finished. Try again in a minute.
`request_pending`	The app is already waiting for an admin.
`forbidden`	The app is in a personal workspace. Only company workspaces have a directory.
`validation_failed`	The app is already listed, or has no live version yet.
